Sheldon Chau, UCI '11, screens 'Bullified' this Monday in the Where You Least Expect Us program at the 2012 Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival.
Bullified is about Billy, an angry bully, who relentlessly chases his victim Ned through the streets of New York. The pursuit leads them to Chinatown where they happen to disrupt a group of workers on their lunch break. Having been rudely interrupted, the workers decide to return the favor.
The film was shot in New York, where Sheldon Chau is an MFA Candidate in Cinematography at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Chau is a previous recipient of the Visual Communication's Armed With A Camera Fellowship for Emerging Media Artists.

The Video Studio's JoAnn Do Hockersmith, UCI'11, screens Prescribed this Sunday in the VC Digital Posse program at the 2012 Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival.
Prescribed is about a young girl who seeks psychiatric assistance by taking a drug that allows her to look into her most feared past. The film was shot with a crew of Video Studio Alumni and stars Jani Wang, Tony Michael Lee, and Ariane Alten. Writer/Director Hockersmith produced Prescribed through the Visual Communication's Armed With A Camera Fellowship for Emerging Media Artists, a program dedicated to nurturing the next generation of Asian Pacific American filmmakers.
